Still agreeing in prayer for God's perfect will for her.

The alarm bells here is the fact that she seems to have put herself in bondage by believing that she needs to remain there. Something that concerned me at the very first, is something about her story that simply doesn't abide by Scripture which teaches that a woman is to have a covering of protective authority. Paul spoke of such covering for women pointing out that it was EVE that was deceived, not the man. He also said that a woman without her covering (and of course you know I'm not talking about having veils or hats, but her being under her God given protection to avoid be deceived into doing something she "thinks" is "godly" or "good" with good intentions). Paul said that a woman without such protection, is uncovered to deceiving angels (not the good ones):

10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 1 Cor. 11

Eve also thought she was doing something "good" after being deceived by a LYING ANGEL. So I wonder, if on her own, your friend did something similar, believing that this was something "God" told her to do, and being STILL convinced that it was God who led her there, she is NOT leaving that job. I would ask that if this were the case, would God tell a believing woman to go on such a "mission" without the proper covering which Scripture clearly describes and instructs for us to do? I simply cannot believe that God would ever do such a thing to go against His own Word.  According to your description, she took the job as some sort of leading from God in the capacity of being some kind of informal missionary to those unbelievers.  That's what it sounds to me at any rate.  But your friend needs to realize that God would never have sent her into a den of lions without her covering.  Though your friend has good intentions, I believe your friend was deceived because she didn't use the proper order as instructed in the Word.  Good intentions is not Truth.  It is ONLY the Truth that protects us.  When we in Christ abide in His Word, submitting to His Commandments, we shall not be deceived.

You can see why we are really concerned here, Friend. It was in no way a cold judgment, but a look at things as Scripture properly gives the good order of things--for OUR protection.  Now I hear what you're saying in how what she needs now is to get out of there, but how will she do this if she continues to believe God wants her there?  The problem remains the same--her not having done things in the proper order according to Scripture.
