OK so you disagree that this may be what she wants rather than what God wants. We would never know since we are not her right? it's an individual communion between she and God alone. Perhaps she was tricked into this lion's den or perhaps it's God's way of sharpening iron or simply placing her in a place where she could spread the seeds when people there are most needed.  My analogy on Joseph is not about free will, it's just about that in dire and hopeless situation there may be a higher purpose that we mere humans could never fathom. If you don't mind me saying a cliche that God works in mysterious ways.  Let's just keep it at that.

Well I don't care to "keep it at that" because that is abuse of Scripture.  Joseph was sent in slavery into Egypt--he wasn't there of his own free will.  Your friend went in her own power.  I don't abide cliches that conveniently obscure the Truth.

I am simply here to ask for prayer support. Instead I have this awfully feeling of , for the lack of a better word, rebuke.
Prayer is most certainly what you are getting--but who is beyond rebuke?  You have described some questionable thinking and actions which should not be ignored, Friend--especially considering you said she is "SUICIDAL".  That sparks really serious consideration, no?  I ask myself then, Would a truly converted Christian be suicidal--ESPECIALLY, if they believe what they are doing is "God's" will.  Surely, Paul said:

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.  2 Cor. 4

In his suffering he certainly was "perplexed", but NEVER was he in "despair", never was the thought of suicide a part of that--FAITH kept him.  If we walk in God's will, we will NOT despair, and certainly not to the point of contemplating suicide.  That is the fruit of the flesh and following the mind of the flesh--not of the Spirit.  Do you know what the word "despair" in Paul's quote means?

1) to be utterly at loss, be utterly destitute of measures or resources, to renounce all hope, be in despair

One contemplates suicide because one has lost all hope--that, my friend, is NOT Faith.  Faith retains hope when one IS in Christ and in the Spirit:

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.  Heb. 3

If one abides in Christ, how could one despair, and despair even to the point of contemplating suicide?  It is in fact ENDURANCE that shows our genuine Faith:

11
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.   Heb. 6

It is that very hope--which is the complete OPPOSITE of despair--that is the anchor that holds our soul:

18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;  Heb. 6

Thank you for caring and your prayers. I feel conflicted and perplexed about all this debate and doubt. Usually I send her these prayer links so she would have hope and be uplifted knowing that people care.
There are those who care here, and you are most welcome for the prayers.  That's precisely why we are not only praying, but also questioning the choices made here.  Things are being said that bring God into this, and that is a serious claim.  We have right to question it.

She has little knowledge of posting in forums so I do all the work for her. In this case, I will not send her this thread. Not that she is a spoiled child that couldn't take some criticisms  from someone who could be more of a meat fed Christian, but reading this is counter productive at her current fragile state.

Blessings

That's fine.  Our prayers do not rely upon her seeing this.  They are being prayed regardless, and God works regardless.  However, I find it very interesting that you didn't answer my last question to you in any way--about your version of Christianity.
