Not trying to start an argument, but I thought the Israelis kept the passover while in the wilderness, based upon these Scriptures:

Numbers 9:1And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,2 Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.4 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.5 And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Some of the people in the discussion I mentioned aren't exactly rocket scientists; indeed, some seemtabee three fries short of a Happy Meal. They tried to tell me, and a few others, that the last passover Jesus ate on earth was not actually the paschal lamb meal, but something they called a "pre-passover dinner". They base this upon the fact that Jesus and His disciples "sat" to eat that meal. Most likely, they reclined upon their left elbows, Roman-style, having placed their food upon a low table. I base that upon this Scripture, plus my knowledge of Roman customs:

John 13:23
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

but, at any rate, thanx for your input on the fact that they definitely were NOT standing, girdrd for a journey, while eating the paschal meal.
