Of course a christian should vote and  obey the laws of the land, including paying taxes unto Caesar. That is fine. What I am primarily talking about is this endless complaining about the government leaders most americans voted in. Christians should pray for the powers that be and instead of joining the political rat race, they could use and redeem their time by witnessing for the saviour. I know several christian men who joined the government political process with all good intentions, but they were forced to compromize and in the end, lost most of their zeal.
Bringing this topic into reality, where is the new testament mandate for getting involved in the government political corrupt system? Did Jesus or the apostles involve themselves with Caesar and his system or did they have a higher calling- to win souls for our Lord Jesus Christ??

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
