Yes, ancient pagans called it "reincarnation". A tree became a god having the same "accident" as the tree it was before, but it's "substance" was the spirit of the god who entered it. The same with a bull, a goat, an eagle, etc. The same with an image of whatever type--statues, paintings on walls, carvings on coffins, stele, etc. The same with offering of other types of food like bread, cakes, wine, etc. The same with a pharaoh and just about every other pagan king there was. The Romish transubstantiation is a sham continued by magicians calling themselves "priests" who perpetrate pagan sorcery disguised as "christianity".

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev. 21

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Rev. 22
