BB, when you and others like you start persecuting people like me, I hope you will remember all that you posted here.  Because eschatologically-wise, that is what is coming next; professing believers persecuting the true believers.  And when your church joins up with the ecumenical yahoos in Rome, think back to these conversations.

Why would I persecute people like you? I agree that true believers will be persecuted, it's written all over what's happened the last 10 or so years. There is no chance my church will become ecumenical. You really shouldn't assume, you make a fool of yourself when you do.

And you are so sure fired positive about that are ya?  I attended a couple of churches that I never ever thought would bite the dust of ecumenism, but look what thought got me.  Sad.  And I was actually discipled by some "really solid" believers back in the day, but who do they run after now?  shaking my head SAD.

Let us not be too cocky about churches and who and who won't bite the dust.  That is one thing I pray about to the LORD every day, concerning deception and other such things, and for HIM to please keep me from it, and just one of many reasons I search HIS WORD daily, so He can inform me on what to be careful of and watch out for.

Mr 9:38 (KJV) And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
