Not sure how many of you know this, but almost all of the main stream denoms, and many, many evangelicals have fallen for this deception. Any of those who promote the likes of
Robert Schuller, (E. W. Kenyon, William Branham, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
SJ
, Mary Baker Eddy, Helena Blavatsky etc), Rick Warren, The Vineyard churches started by John Wimber, many Calvary Chapels, the New Apostolic Reformation headed by C. Peter Wagner, Rick Joyner, Jon Corson, Charles and Andy Stanley, Chuck Colson and son, James Dobson, David Jeremiah, Greg Laurie, John Stott (deceased), Adrian Rogers (deceased), Chuck Swindoll, Back to the Bible, Radio Bible Class, Hank Hanegraaff
, and a whole host of others. And this list is not done, what about all those mainliners who claim to be "CHRISTIAN" who are nothing but daughters of the same harlot, the RCC?
It is time to wake up folks!!!! Jesus is coming soon, and for those of us who read and heed God's Word, we better be ready. He said, "Watch" and to occupy until He comes. We seem to have no problem occupying, but many certainly are not watching.
I was listening to the radio the other day on my break and I could not believe what I heard! It is appalling that Rick Warren transposes Scripture, example: He took part of what the apostles asked in one place in the Gospels and transposed it to another place, by displacing what Jesus actually said. WATCH!
Mt 24:1 (KJV) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
(and all following verses)
And what transpired in Acts 1:
Ac 1:6 (KJV) When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth
.
I will highlight in red what Rick Warren displaced in the two, and in blue what Rick Warren took out.
Now here is what Rick Warren did in his purpose driven agenda books:
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Hank Hanegraaff did a similar thing the other day on the radio when someone called in about Jesus Millennial Kingdom.
He quoted the first part of Acts 1
Ac 1:6 (KJV) When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons...
And then went on to tell the caller that there is NO Millennial reign and such, totally denying the rest of what JESUS said.
Watch and be ready Jesus said, and when we see all these things coming to pass to lift up our heads, for our redemption draweth nigh.
Folks, the list above is hardly definitive, the deceiver is working over time these days.
Mr 9:38 (KJV) And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
